Why you need to stop saying, “You’re so smart”

Think your child just “isn’t the creative type”? or “is not good at Maths”? That kind of thinking could be what’s holding them back. In the first episode of the Raising Young Entrepreneurs series, Allon Raiz is joined by Radley Primary School principal Charné De Gouveia to explore the real secret to unlocking a child’s potential: fostering a growth mindset. Learn how your everyday language, attitude toward failure, and even your praise could either be building resilience – or reinforcing limits. Packed with practical parenting examples and mindset-flipping tips, this episode is your first tool for raising kids who believe they can learn anything. Because they can.
