Including: overheard lines, cabling, mcc switchboard maintenance, lightning & earthing protection, process control systems & instrumentation, transformers installation & maintenance, generators installation & maintenance. - Mechanical work
Including: structures refurbishment, fabrications and installations, HDPE and steel piping, plating & water systems, rigging services, scaffolding and structural steel and corrosion protection. - Fire and emergency responses
Including: fire systems and emergency responses team - Industrial cleaning & waste management
Including: industrial waste management and removal (including hydrocarbons, scrap metal & sewage), supply of portable toilets and high-pressure cleaning. - Logistics
Including: heavy mobile equipment (HME) and warehousing.
What are the minimum criteria to apply?
- You must be a South African citizen over the age of 18Â
- Your business must be 100% or black ownedÂ
- You must be active in your business full timeÂ
- You must have access to a cellphone, a computer and an email address
- You must be responsible for your own transportÂ
- You must reside in one of the following areas:Â Â
- KwaMbonambi
- KwaSokhulu
- kwaMkhwanazi
- KwaDube
Are there programme-specific criteria?
Yes. In addition to the minimum requirements, your business must also meet the following:Â
- Business size: You must be either:Â
- An Exempted Micro-Enterprise (EME) with annual revenue of R10 million or less, ORÂ
- A Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE) with annual revenue between R10 million and R50 millionÂ
- Company must be registered and in operation for at least 2 yearsÂ
- Compliance documents: You must have a valid B-BBEE certificateÂ
- Community requirement: You must have a valid letter from your Traditional CouncilÂ
