What are the minimum requirements to apply?

The business owner must be a South African citizen owned been active in business for 18 months, registered for 6 months. Priority to be given to HDSA business.

You must:

• Be available to attend in-person engagements in Johannesburg from time to time.
• Have a cellphone or a laptop & have stable internet and adequate data I have power supply of laptop and internet during sessions.
• 18 years and older.
• Applicants should have the requisite trading licenses i.e, Beneficiation license, jewellers permit.
• Be responsible for your own transport and travel related costs.
• Be active in the business, or Have a registered business for 6 months.
• The following licenses with the SADPMR will be required, as part of the requirements to apply:
  • Diamond cutter and polishers: Beneficiation license required.
  • Diamond jewellery manufacturers: Jewellery permit.

Preference will be given to applicants trading for at least 18 months.
