Facilitator

What are we looking for?
Raizcorp is looking for a skilled, experienced adult learning facilitator to join us on a one-year contract role where you will be doing both facilitation in and around the Kathu area, as well as administration relating to the delivery of learning courses.  All the courses you’ll be facilitating are focused on entrepreneurship, and as such, an understanding of business or experience in your own business would be a great advantage.  You will be expected to travel to Johannesburg for training and learning handovers and you will report into our Kathu office branch manager.  We’re a company obsessed with quality of our learning facilitation and impact to audiences – you need to have this same inherent approach. 

What does this role do?
The core of the role is delivering learning facilitation to adult audiences (all entrepreneurs in their own businesses).  You’ll be delivering specific learning content around the concepts of business and entrepreneurship.  You will also need to support the branch with all learning and compliance administration.

What experience is preferred?
You need previous experience in facilitation, specifically adult education.  You also need experience in in-person classroom facilitation as well as online and digital facilitation.  You will primarily work from our Kathu office, but there will be instances in which you will be required to travel to different sites.  Our learning approach is a blended one and you will need to be versed in different types of learning environments.  Strong administrative ability is also essential as learning compliance and administration is key within our organisation.

Minimum requirements

• Candidates must have a matric with a formal qualification and training in adult facilitation
• Candidates must have at least 5 + years’ experience in blended facilitation
• Strong administrative ability
• Experience with learning set-up, delivery and compliance
• Strong English language ability with local language ability
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and Skype)
• Can-do, proactive person with loads of energy
