No. We support entrepreneurs — no matter what their educational level. However, you do need basic computer skills. We have beneficiaries who do not have a matric, and partners who have PhDs and MBAs. It is the blue heart® of the entrepreneur that concerns us.

No. we believe in backing people, not businesses. A great business can dissolve very quickly with a bad entrepreneur, and a bad business can quickly succeed with a good entrepreneur. We will be looking at your entrepreneurial drive, not at the soundness of your business plan (which can be fixed later). Yes. We are a member of SABTIA (South African Business and Technology Incubator Association). In fact, we were on the founding board of this organisation. We are also the only African incubator to be awarded as a Centre of Excellence by the UK Government’s Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI). We are also a member of the International Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE).
